Birthday Cards

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SISSER!

My sister is in Florida right now doing schooling for the Navy. This is the first birthday she has not been home for, so we went out of our way to send her a few really special cards.

ENJOY!

:)

The card I sent to her.

The card Grandma sent to her

The card Mom sent to her

I also made a really special card for my husband today. A very simple color scheme, and a popular damask pattern make this card elegant and romantic.

I love this card, and my husband did too. :)

A Weekend of Celebrations

This weekend has been a weekend of wonderful surprises and celebrations!

On Saturday, we celebrated a Welcome Home Party for a very close friend. It was an honor being asked to work on the invitations for his party. He was returning from deployment, so I wanted the invites to be patriot. I used a red, white, and blue color scheme and ribbon for interest. Hope you enjoy!

WELCOME HOME CORY!!!!

On Sunday we got to celebrate a birthday for my husbands father. What a special day. We ate delicious steaks, and had a few desserts that were to die for!! I as usual took a lot of pictures. :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAVE!

Knowing that my husband was going to bbq for the birthday dinner, I made a really special birthday card. I LOVED IT! I think you will too. As always, everything I make can be customized for you, so let me know if you need any thing created.

OKTOBERFEST

I am feeling the fall spirit sneaking up on us. Oh what joy comes from slight evening breezes, beautiful tree colors, and of course fall food favorites, like chili and candy apples.

Tonight we spent a lovely evening at the Oktoberfest in downtown Belleville. What fun that was!! We enjoyed a huge turkey leg and potato pancakes to eat, and listened to polka music all with the square fountain in the background. News Channel 4 anchors Larry Connors and Vickie Newton were even down there recording live ... a cool site to see! Here are a few pictures from the night. :)

In honor of Fall, and all the Fall festivities taking place over the next few weeks I created a darling card set. 12 cards 4 styles = 3 of each card. This set is simply adorable! I hope you think so too!

A SUPER Night

I have been working on SUPER fun Superhero Invitations for a five year old boys birthday party. The invitations incorporate his favorite colors and theme, but also a cute little photo for his Mom to cherish. It is the perfect blend of fun and party.

We dropped this off at a Bread Co, and the client was SUPER happy ... and that makes me SUPER :). Upon leaving the drop off site, we saw a man, dressed as a banana announcing free ColdStone Ice Cream ... who can ever resist that? Sooo ... my husband and I went for dessert before dinner. It was, of course, SUPER!!!! The free ice cream was in honor of the Make a Wish Foundation, a charity I LOVE supporting. Check out their website at http://www.wish.org/. Here are a few fun photos of us enjoying our dessert BEFORE out dinner at McAllisters (where we supported the Cornerstone Christian Church School).

Called Jack's Creation -- vanilla with brownies sprinkles and carmel ... SUPER!!!

How does it taste?

SUPER!!!!

What a great night.
Hope you enjoy the invites, and that everyone had a SUPER day.

:)
